Welcome to the page of City of The Hague.
The English-language Facebook page of the Municipality of The Hague aims to reach the non-Dutch speaking residents of The Hague to provide them with an accessible platform for communication.
Everyone living or working in The Hague can find news and information about the city on this page. It is possible for FB users to ‘like’, post and leave comments or post their own messages. However, it is important to stick to the rules of the game. We reserve the right to remove messages which contain spam, offensive language, unsolicited advertising or (links to) inappropriate or illegal content.
We discourage non-related responses or posts in Dutch on our page.
The Municipality of The Hague aims to update and post new and engaging information, photos and interactive content on a regular basis.
Everyone will be able to view the page, photos and posts, regardless of whether he has a Facebook account. It is not necessary to log into Facebook to view the page. People who have a Facebook account can indicate that they think something is interesting on the page through the ‘Like’ button. From that moment on they will receive updates through their own so-called Timeline.
Visitors can share their ideas, give feedback on outdated or incorrect information on thehague.com in a separate post or through a private message. This will help us improve our content. We aim to respond within 24 hours to private messages during weekdays.
